The order process and after...
In a moment you will go to the Order Form to give us your contact details and details of the property. Before you do here is some information about what will
happen once you place your order. Please read it carefully.
- You will not be asked to pay
anything online when you place your order.
- Immediately after you place your
order you will receive an email confirming your order. You
or your estate agent are then legally able to start
marketing the property (you do not need to wait to receive
the actual EPC).
- One of our staff will contact you
(normally the same or next working day) to arrange a
convenient time to visit your property to perform the energy
assessment.
- One of our accredited Domestic
Energy Assessors (DEAs) will visit your property at the
agreed date & time to perform the assessment. It is
crucial that you (or another responsible adult) is there to
let them in unless we have agreed some other arrangements
for us to pick up the key (eg from your estate agent).
- The assessor will collect payment
from you at the time of the assessment. This can be by
either cash or a cheque. Sorry, but due to the cost of
processing them, we do not accept debit or credit cards.
- Once we have produced the EPC (normally the same day as the assessment) you will receive an email
with the EPC as an attachment in PDF format.
Small print
- We will not issue the EPC until we have received payment.
- To keep the cost of our service to the minimum we do not issue paper copies of EPCs.
Neither do we issue them on CD-ROM or other physical medium. You are paying for the
electronic version only. If you absolutely must have a hard copy we will post you your choice of
either a paper copy or a CD on payment of an additional £5 once the document(s) are completed.
